The Mercedes-Benz Maybach Design Concept provides a glimpse of the technology and features that could be incorporated into an ultra-luxury model of the near future. Built on a 139-inch wheelbase, the Mercedes Maybach Design Concept which is 227.2 inches long – 22 inches longer than the current Mercedes S-Class premium luxury sedans, but shorter than most conventional limousines. The Maybach Concept is equipped with a full complement of luxury features, including an on-board entertainment center with LCD-screen TV, three telephones, a bar and reclining rear seats. The unique electrochromic roof allows passengers to control the amount of light entering the car. Lightweight construction materials used in the Mercedes Maybach Concept include fiber composites, aluminum and magnesium.
